She keeps me laughing

Emma has trouble making it through the night without wetting the bed.

We wake her up at about ten or eleven every night before we go to bed.

Last night I went to do our usual wake-up-and-pee routine.

I found this.

Guess who was sleeping underneath.

Yup, Emma.

I wonder what was going on in her little mind during the making of this small fort.

Oh, the things kids come up with.

Two Down One to Go

Preschool officially started today. I have two going to school and one at home… so weird. And, yes, I cried when I dropped him off. You’d think you’d get used to this stuff. I can’t help it. It tugs at my heart to see my little guy so confident walking into his preschool class. He’s his own person and not so much an extension of me anymore. And as freeing as that is for me…I”m gonna miss the little bugger.

Here’s some pics of the day, but first a small disclaimer. I am holding out to do laundry this weekend, which means we are down to the bare minimum, which also means Owen’s not wearing the cutest outfit to the first day of preschool. Sorry, Bug, I promise to get it right for the first day of kindergarten.

on our way

saying, “cheese”

trying to get a cute brother pose

He was so excited. He said, “mommy, you stay at your house?” He wanted to make sure I wasn’t staying with him.

Picking him up… looks a little tuckered out back there.

upset because I didn’t bring a snack

over it

wishing he could stay a little longer

TATS

Owen got spiderman tattoos from the Chicago Family.

He shared with his sibs.

What a nice guy.
